I am a retired physician who enjoys travel and photography; I hope you enjoy our photographic meanderings.

My lovely wife of nearly 50 years and I decided to take our whole family for a cruise on the Danube to celebrate our marriage and family. We chose the Tauck Bridges cruise as it is designed to be entertaining for children. Our six grandchildren were among forty-four children on board who quickly made our time together very interesting. We were joined by four of our close friends who added to the delight of the celebration. Tauck hosted a renewal of vows celebration followed by a private supper.

    • Budapest, Linz, and Vienna will blow you away. We’ve been to Vienna three times and for both that and Budapest, we’d have suggestions for things to experience. Linz is much smaller, but manageable. We would recommend Tauck without reservation. Don’t overlook Japan, as the culture, crafts and medium art are just exquisite. One can walk anywhere in a Japanese city with complete safety. I did include our Japan trip in the “Other Photographic Meanderings” page.
